Apple update iOS security documents: add Face ID, Cash and more
Apple today updated its iOS Security White Paper. After this upgrade, iOS Security will include an introduction to security information for new features in iOS 11.1 and iOS 11.2, such as Face ID and Apple Pay Cash personal transfers. Much of the face ID information has previously been shared through Face ID white papers.
A face ID security white paper released in September last year, that is, iPhone X conference after the end. In today’s updated document, Apple also introduced the security features of shared memos, CloudKit, Siri recommendations, and more:
