‘Black Dot’ Unicode bug crashes your iOS Messages app

Today, EverythingApplePro found another character bug. This bug was called “Black Dot” and originally related to WhatsApp on the Android platform. On the iOS platform, black dots mainly played, and the iPhone and iPad cards could be dead or crashed directly.

The main problem with this black dot is that it contains a large number of invisible Unicode characters that can cause the CPU to load too high during processing. If sending the message, the recipient’s device will crash.

Currently, the version of iOS affected by this bug includes iOS 11.3 and iOS 11.4 beta. Apple has yet to issue a fix for this issue, but one is expected to arrive soon.
