Microsoft Changes Windwos Server 2008 SP2 Service
Microsoft announced on its official website on the 12th that it changed its support model for Windows Server 2008 SP2.
“We are moving to a rollup model for Windows Server 2008 SP2. The initial preview of the monthly quality rollup will be released on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.”
Microsoft has implemented the “Monthly Quality rollup” service plan for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 since October 2016. Sachin Goyal, senior project manager of the Windows Service and Delivery team, said that Windows Server 2008 SP2 will use the same service model in the future. This leads to a more consistent and simplified service experience.
