Microsoft will officially launch Windows 10 Redstone 4 next Tuesday
Microsoft is once again preparing to begin public release of Windows 10 Redstone 4 because the company has just pushed the RTM version to all aspects of the Windows Insider program. Windows 10 build 17134 is now available for download by test users in a fast, slow, and preview release environment, which means that Microsoft will soon complete RTM testing.
If no major defects are found, Microsoft will push updates to the first batch of systems next Tuesday. Microsoft has postponed the release of Windows 10 Redstone 4 because it discovered a blocking error that caused the previous BSOD in the RTM version to be marked as 17133. Then, the company decided to publish version 17134 as a new RTM instead of releasing a cumulative update. To avoid any potential upgrade issues that may occur when the system obtains the latest operating system version.
Now, this error has been resolved, Microsoft is now at the beginning of the public development of the RTM version has been modified before the final distribution, and cumulative update fixes other minor bugs may be issued on the first day. With the release of Redstone 4 for more systems, it will be further improved.
However, Microsoft did not say what name it plans to use to implement this new update. Redstone 4 is the company’s code name for internal updates, previously thought it might be named Windows 10 Spring Creators Update.
