Mozilla Firefox 61 releases: Improve Page Rendering and Loading Speed
Mozilla Firefox 61 official version is scheduled for June 26, which will be released tomorrow, but users can already access Mozilla’s servers for download, covering Windows, Linux, and Mac platforms. The new version further enhances performance and stability, brings faster tab switching on Windows and Linux platforms, better page rendering with Quantum CSS improvements, and faster page rendering with new retained display list functionality speed.
In addition, the MacOS platform version WebExtensions can have its own process. By default, the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 specification is activated. The dark theme pattern in the entire theme interface becomes more consistent, and the current URL can be shared through the Page Actions of macOS.
Another interesting improvement in Firefox 61 is to prevent FTP sub-resources from being used on HTTP and HTTPS sites to increase user security. In addition, Mozilla Firefox 61 also upgrades WebExtensions to allow managing and hiding tabs. Elsewhere, this version makes it easier to install the OpenSearch plug-in via the Page Actions menu, migrates personalized user home pages to a preference named “Home,” and provides a new pull-down menu for the Developer Tools Network panel, allowing bandwidth throttling.
