Elon Musk removed Tesla and SpaceX Facebook fanpage
After the 50 million user data leakage incident on Facebook was exposed, the massive #deletefacebook campaign was launched on social media. Just now, this movement reached a new upsurge. Musk responded to several Twitter fans’ challenges and deleted the Facebook pages of Tesla and SpaceX companies.
After the incident happened, a Twitter user @elonmusk said
What’s Facebook?

Before the deletion, the official Facebook of the two companies each had about 2.6 million fans, which are currently inaccessible.
“Instagram’s probably OK … so long as it stays fairly independent,” Mr Musk responded.
“I don’t use FB & never have, so don’t think I’m some kind of martyr or my companies are taking a huge blow. Also, we don’t advertise or pay for endorsements, so … don’t care.“
