Gboard with ability to make your own GIF finally landed Android client
According to androidpolice reports, Google’s third-party keyboard Gboard has been popular for a while on Android and iOS. What’s interesting, though, is that one of its newest and coolest features — personalized GIF customizations — only landed on the iOS client since its launch in January. Now, this situation has finally changed. It is understood that the new Make a GIF option has finally been applied to Android, but it is only a beta version and is only available on some devices.
In any case, the late arrival is better than nothing. It is unclear which Android devices support this feature, but Pixel and Pixel 2 with the Gboard beta application appear to have no problem.
The best part of Gboard’s custom GIF feature is that it is simple to use and easy to find on the keyboard. Users only need to enter the GIF section of the keyboard to select the My GIFs tab to start creating their own clips or selfies. It is reported that the maximum GIF recording time is 3 seconds, and then you can add filters on it, and finally save it under the My GIFs tab for future use.
In addition to custom GIFs, the latest version of Gboard also brings a large number of new stickers. Unfortunately, it is not yet clear when the final version of Gboard will be launched.
