Google ban fake ID apps on Play Store
Due to many restrictions in the society and the Internet, there are a large number of users in the United States that require the Fake ID. Play Store previously lacked supervision in this area, and a large number of Fake ID applications were used in Google. Now, Google’s latest policy shows that such applications will be banned in the future.
There are hordes of apps in the Play Store that promise to help you make a fake ID. Most of them are laughably poor quality. Google Play has revised its developer policy:
We don’t allow apps that help users to mislead others, including, but not limited to, apps that generate or facilitate the generation of ID cards, social security numbers, passports, diplomas, credit cards and driver’s licenses.
Any claim that an app is a “prank”, “for entertainment purposes” (or other synonym) does not exempt an app from application of our policies.
Google has predicted in advance that in the future, such applications will be played in the form of spoofs, and Google will begin culling the multitude of fake ID apps in the Play Store soon.
