Windows 10 was supported to read High Efficiency Image File Format

After Apple has used the HEIC format in the iOS system, an increasing number of software and applications currently support conversion or direct viewing of the image format.

The HEIC, an efficient image file format, can be used to store images that contain more information, while the format takes up relatively less space in size.

As a mainstream operating system, Windows 10 did not support the HEIC format before, but when exporting HEIC through OneDrive, it will automatically transfer the JPEG format.

This method of Microsoft has been used as a compromise before, but it is still available. Until now, the company finally released a compatible library to allow direct viewing.
