How To Remove Spam Traps From Your Mailing Lists

If you run email marketing campaigns or send out daily mass emails on a regular basis, having an accurate email list is crucial for your success. You’re probably seeking for the best email authentication tools you can find if you want to collect authentic emails and remove invalid ones from your contact list. The goal of email address validation is to identify non-existent and invalid email addresses so that messages and mailings can be sent to the correct recipients.

There are many advantages of email marketing, including direct and quick communication with potential customers, relatively low implementation and implementation costs, automation, growth of targeted actions from subscribers, and developing devotion to your brand. Most businesses suffer the problem of spam, if they do not pay enough attention to cleaning their email lists, which severely damages their reputation as an email sender. If you don’t take steps to keep your domain and IP address off of spam and blacklists, you’ll be unable to use marketing campaigns efficiently in the future.

To begin with, sending just to current recipient addresses helps to preserve the SMTP server’s reputation as well as the sender’s domain name, reducing the expense of allocating extra resources. It’s worth noting that the speed with which letters are processed, as well as the number of soft and hard bounces, will improve.

For successful email sales, you’ll need a clean, high-quality email database. Duplicates, addresses with mistakes, broken messages, and undeliverable emails will all appear in any database over time. As a result, validating email addresses is critical. Email list cleaning should be done every 6 months at the very least, depending on the size of the base. The larger your list, the more probable it is that it will contain invalid email addresses, and the more frequently it is worth checking.

There are services that can assist you in validating your email list. The following is a list of some of them:

  1. Snov.io. This service is a safe way to clear out your email contacts list. A total of 100 addresses are available to you for free. This service is simple to use, has API and CRM integration, and does verification through a Google Chrome extension, which is useful for its users.
  2. If you specify IP data, ZeroBounce is a service for scanning the database that detects information about clients and saves it in its reports. It is free to check up to 100 emails. In addition to cleaning spam traps and service addresses, this service can find further information about clients, which is quite a useful feature as well.
  3. Xverify. The cost of using this tool starts at $0.01 per address for a 5000-email database, but it drops as the number of addresses in the database grows. With built-in data protection, it keeps the fraud away.
  4. BulkEmailVerifier. To begin using this service, you must first register and upload your database, after which the validator will automatically eliminate any addresses that may have a negative impact on your reputation. It also allows you to work with many lists at once. Its email validation speed is extremely fast, at around 100000 per hour.
