iOS 11.3: iPhone will be warned if your iPhone battery is failing
After iOS 11.3 has been released for several days, users have noticed that the old iPhone has restarted after a battery problem. The system will pop up a new warning alert. Apple uses this method to remind users of the iPhone because the battery can not provide peak performance and cause a reboot. If you encounter this warning alert, you can check the battery health in the Settings app.
Go to “Settings”> “Batteries”> “Battery Health (Beta)” and batteries with a maximum capacity of less than 80% are prone to problems.
Most users’ iPhones show “Your battery is currently supporting normal peak performance.” at “Peak Performance Capability”, but for older models, it may be shown “This iPhone has experienced an unexpected shutdown because the battery was unable to deliver the necessary peak power. Performance management has been applied to help prevent this from happening again.”
If you do not plan to turn on performance management, you can click on the Disable button below. This way your iPhone will be used as it was before the restart, but there may also be problems with unexpected shutdowns or reboots.
If you do nothing, your iPhone will automatically perform performance management, that is, it will run slower, but it will not crash.
You can also choose to find Apple to replace the battery. The discounted price is $29. The activity will continue until the end of this year.
