Linuxfx LTS 9.0 released: Linux distribution
Linuxfx is a Linux distribution from Brazil based on Ubuntu with the KDE Plasma desktop environment. It features an intuitive KDE desktop user interface, automatic hardware detection and configuration, support for popular multimedia codecs, and a collection of useful software for office use and media playback. Linuxfx supports Portuguese, Spanish and English languages.
The project recently released the Linuxfx LTS 9.0 version. This new version comes with the following software:
- With Plasma desktop
- WPS Office as a replacement for LibreOffice;
- Chrome, Firefox, and Tor browsers;
- Skype and Thunderbird for online communication;
- Etcher and K3B are used for burning discs and flash drives;
- VLC and Deadbeef to play audio;
- TeamViewer for remote assistance;
- Sentinel ctOS software and Soundfx audio processor.
