System76 prepares to develop its own desktop Linux computers
As early as April 2017, System76 already announced that they would begin to design and develop their computing machine, starting from the desktop, and then create their laptop, rather than over-reliance on upstream suppliers. It seems that the Colorado-based company is nearing its full goal.
For a while, System76 employees published various images of their ongoing manufacturing plants, and now they have shared more pictures on their blogs.

They are working hard to achieve their goal of making Linux PCs in the US, initially desktops – before their goal was to complete it in 2018, then laptops, and it seems they are on the right track.
Although they have not shown pictures of all their manufacturing equipment, it can be seen that there are at least 3D printers, laser cutting machines, coloring, welding, and other stuff.
Some photos that are interested in viewing the current state of their new manufacturing facility can access System76’s blog.
