Twitter announces to ban cryptocurrency ads from Tuesday
According to Reuters, onMarch 27 reported that Twitter announced on Tuesday that it would prohibit the emergence of digital cryptocurrency ads on its platform so that the public to avoid potential fraud and a lot of financial losses.
On Monday, social media giant Twitter in San Francisco announced that its new ban will prevent ICOs and token sales advertisements from appearing on the Twitter platform.
It is understood that the new regulations will be implemented within the next 30 days, and advertisements from the digital cryptocurrency market and digital cryptocurrency purse services will also be banned unless the company is already publicly listed on major securities markets.
In addition, Twitter stated that for the Japanese market, except for the digital currency trading market allowed by the country’s financial regulatory agencies, other trading markets are not allowed to advertise on their platforms.
