Ubuntu 18.10 Wallpaper Contest is now accepting registration
Recently, Ubuntu member Nathan Haines announced on the website that the upcoming Ubuntu 18.10 (Cosmic Cuttlefish) Ubuntu Free Culture Showcase wallpaper competition is now open.
“For the Ubuntu Free Culture Showcase for 18.10, we’re requesting accomplished and consummate photographers and artists to submit their Creative Commons-licensed photos and artwork to the Free Culture Showcase, a contest that determines which wallpapers we’ll include with Ubuntu 18.10 as extra content for choosy consumers of desktop Ubuntu.”
He said in the article that the Ubuntu Free Culture Exhibition aims to collect brilliant images of talented photographers and artists from around the world, and the winning entries will include in the upcoming Ubuntu 18.10 operating system.
The content of the entry is also mentioned in the article. All content must be published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike or Creative Commons Attribute License. Each contestant must submit only the content they created. All submitted material must comply with the Ubuntu Code of Conduct.
Heartbeat, I quickly signed up. Participants can check out the Ubuntu Free Culture Showcase wiki for details.
