Ubuntu developers are trying to improve the GNOME software
Canonical/Ubuntu developers are working with GNOME’s prolific contributor Richard Hughes to improve the GNOME software store and plan to bring brainstorming improvements to GNOME software in the coming months.
One of the places they want to improve is to be able to show “Verified publishers” within the GNOME software store to show more trusted software packages, which is a way to report software errors/problems through GNOME software, for software. Publishers provide better layout and theme customisation options and refresh the “Home” screen. The new home screen may show related applications, such as which apps the user has installed on the system and other related personalised suggestions.
A detailed GNOME software plan can find on this Ubuntu blog post.
