Alcatel 1X is the first Android Go phone
Last spring, Google said it wants to rebuild an Android operating system that runs quickly and smoothly for low-profile devices. A few days ago, the company revealed the first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphones to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018). Now, TheVerge has got the first device from Alcatel, it is Alcatel 1X. As an entry-level device, the hardware configuration is clearly not its biggest bright spot.
After getting started, Vlad Savov said the Alcatel 1X was not overly shocking. Operating system fluency is not particularly good, but it will not delay.
