AMD discloses over 50 vulnerabilities that affect EPYC processor and Radeon graphics driver
AMD recently issued 3 security bulletins to warn about security vulnerabilities in its EPYC processor and Radeon graphics driver on Windows 10. Although most of the vulnerabilities are classified as high-risk, AMD provides some updates and AGESA microcode packages to patch these vulnerabilities.
As for the Radeon graphics driver, there are many vulnerabilities in the Windows 10 system. AMD has detected a total of 27 security vulnerabilities of different dangerous levels. Both ordinary consumers and corporate users will be affected by these vulnerabilities. Fortunately, users only need to update the graphics driver to the latest version to solve this problem.
For ordinary consumers, the graphics driver must at least be updated to Radeon Adrenalin 21.4.1. AMD recently released version 21.11.2 of the driver, so most users should have already installed a newer version of the driver than 21.4.1. Enterprise users need to make sure that they are using the Radeon Pro Enterprise 21.Q2 driver, but the 21.Q3 driver has been launched as early as September, so the problem should not be big.
