Starting April 1, BlackBerry World will cancel the support of paid apps, which is also the final preparation for them to completely abandon the BlackBerry OS. The announcement given by BlackBerry shows that refunds for paid apps will be supported by April 30, 2018. After this, all payments and refunds will be handled by the developer. The paid apps that BlackBerry users have paid for and installed on their phones are still available.
For users who purchase BlackBerry smartphones (including today’s Android devices), they will need to go to Google Play for installing the application.
BlackBerry had repeatedly stated that the BlackBerry World App Store was completely stopped on December 31, 2019, and service support for BB 10 and BB OS will also be fully terminated.
