According to a Reuters report, the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) contractor arrested for stealing confidential information pleaded guilty in October 2016. It is clear that Harold Martin, a former NSA contractor, did not reach a settlement and so it is not clear when the case will be closed. Reuters said he also faces 19 other allegations.

NSA contractor Martin reportedly stole 50TB of data over 20 years of work, including data from Booz Allen Hamilton, a U.S. defense contractor who hired Edward Snowden. It is reported that these data are very valuable and includes the hacker tools developed by NSA elite organizations.

Reuters said the documents came from a number of government agencies, including the NSA, the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, the U.S. Army Cyber Command and the U.S. National Reconnaissance Agency. It is reported that Martin will face up to 10 years in prison for the theft of 50TB of confidential data.
