Google’s Fuchsia OS supports the Android Runtime
Fuchsia OS source code based on non-Linux kernels has recently appeared on the AOSP Android open source project site. Fuchsia OS is the next generation of a new system that Google is developing. It is based on the Zircon kernel, and according to the latest discovery by Mishaal Rahman, developer of the XDA community, the system is developed to support the ART runtime environment (Android runtime), which means that the Fuchsia system may be compatible with native Android applications, allowing developers to conveniently port without recompiling existing Android applications.
Fuchsia OS just showed up in AOSP, but most importantly, in the ART (Android Runtime) branch. Looks like they're building Fuchsia with ART…which would suggest native Android app support.https://t.co/2BzpvTxf9d pic.twitter.com/xZaktz1wcp

Google may have ported the entire ART runtime environment library in the Zicron core, but this news has not been officially confirmed, but an insider told 9to5Google that this will “allow for porting of currently existing applications for testing on some internal devices.”
If this feature is supported, the Fuchsia system is likely to be used to truly replace Chrome OS and Android.
