Hacker attacked sauna camera and publishes nude videos of Dutch handball team
According to nltimes news media, the hackers managed to invade the surveillance camera system in the sauna locker room and released videos of the Dutch women’s handball team naked in a dressing room of sauna Oase on the adult website in December last year.
Although it was strange to use camera systems in the sauna room, sauna owner Erik van Ingen Schenau said that the company had been hacked in 2015 when hackers managed to infiltrate the network and steal surveillance videos. Seven of them were naked in the video. He said “I received a mail containing a photo, a still from a video of one of the security cameras. With the warning that the images would go online in 14 days if I did not immediately remove the cameras.”
Although Erik van Ingen Schenau immediately took down the camera and removed them, however, the hacker released videos on adult websites in December last year. A total of seven women confirm that they appeared in the video, some of them completely exposed.
Although the presence of camcorders and hackers in the locker room is worrying about the existence of this system, it does not at least specify how the attacker penetrates the network and steals video. According to Pieter Bunt, a spokesperson said: “Security cameras in changing rooms have been banned by the government for two years. Sauna fans do not have to be afraid that something like that will repeat itself again.”
