Hacker attacked Ticketfly’s Website
Ticketfly, a well-known online ticketing website in North America, closed all websites on Thursday with a series of problems. Regarding the reasons for the closure, the company claimed that it was due to its being a target of hacking and that closing the site was a deliberate measure. Unfortunately, although Ticketfly did not respond that there was any user information (such as credit card data) stolen during the cyber attack, the attacker appeared to have obtained the relevant data.
A hacker who claimed to be “IShAkDz” publicly admitted to attacking the server and left a special message on the server site before Ticketfly closed: “Your Security Down im Not Sorry” In addition, the hackers took Tigerfly’s website pages with Guy Fawkes’s photos and left an email account indicating that the database marked “Backstage”.

Judging from the information disclosed by the media, the hacker said in an email with a secure media that he/she had contacted Ticketfly several times before to inform the website of potential security issues. He hoped Ticketfly would pay 1 Bitcoin to repair the problem, but he never got a reply. A Ticketfly spokesman has not yet responded to the statement.
In addition, Brooklyn Bowl, Pearl Street, and Lafayette Theater, which use the same server system as Ticketfly, are also affected by the disaster. The relevant staff is speeding up the debugging and repair.
A spokesperson for Eventbrite, Ticketfly’s parent company said
We’ve determined that Ticketfly.com has been the target of a cyber incident. Out of an abundance of caution, we have taken all Ticketfly systems temporarily offline as we continue to look into the issue. We realize the gravity of this decision, but the security of client and customer data is our top priority. We are working tirelessly, and in coordination with leading third party forensic experts, to get our clients back up and running.
