Intel introduces “Breakthrough” 49-Qubit Computer
According to ExtremeTech website, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich announced at this 2018 CES this week that the company will launch the 49-qubit quantum computer, marking a significant step toward Quantum supremacy.

Two months ago, Intel and Qutech in the Netherlands co-sponsored the project and said expanding the quantum Qubit is the key to creating quantum computers that deliver real-world results. Intel said in October that Qubit is very fragile and that any noise or lack of attention can lead to data loss that requires them to work at around 20 millikelvins, 250 times less than vacuum. This is why we can not easily see quantum computers.
Krzanich also said at the meeting that he thanked the industry for “teamed up” to solve the loopholes in Meltdown and Specter.
