Microsoft has Python, Java support for its bot-building framework
Two years ago, at the Build Developer Conference, Microsoft introduced the Bot Framework, which allows anyone to create their own chat robot and says the future will be a world filled with chat robots. The tool understands the natural language or analyzes images, initially opening 22 APIs for integration into applications.
The latest news shows that Microsoft appears ready to increase its bot build tools and messaging in the coming months.
As pointed out by Mando technology strategist and Gary Pretty of Microsoft MVP, Microsoft is developing version 4 of its Bot Builder Software Development Kit and has an open-source SDK. In addition to the existing C #, .NET, and JavaScript options, Python and Java will also support this version of the SDK.
Microsoft Robot is the core of the work of the Microsoft Bot Framework. The framework consists of components: Bot Builder SDK; Bot Connector: used to register, connect, publish and manage robots.
Developers can build bots from the Bot Framework that work in platforms like text/SMS, Office 365 mail, Skype, Slack, GroupMe, telegraph, and internet. Microsoft also built an Azure Bot Service based on Azure capabilities, a Microsoft serverless computing service that allows the bot to scale as needed.
