According to bleepingcomputer on March 17 news, the Polish law enforcement agencies announced on Friday last week that the famous cybercriminals Tomasz T had been arrested in Poland by the police. It is reported that Tomasz T is widely regarded as the author of the development of the Polski, Vortex and Flotera ransomware families.
The Polish police searched the Tomasz T home during the arrest and detained its computer equipment. Through this device and its remote server, some important data was successfully recovered, including encryption keys. Currently, Polish police are encouraging victims of Polski, Vortex and Flotera ransomware to submit formal lawsuits to local authorities in order to obtain decryption keys for their documents.
The current cybercriminal who has been active since 2013 has been charged with 181 different crimes, and the court has granted him temporary detention for three months.
