According to koreaherald media reports, the Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games Organizing Committee February 10 said that during the day before the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games, its servers were unidentified hacking, leading to the main media center IPTV failure.
In order to prevent further damage, Pyeongchang Organizing Committee closed the server, but the official website cannot function properly, and visitors cannot print tickets for the Winter Olympics. Up to 8 am this morning, the website of the Olympic Winter Games returned to normal.
But at the moment, it is unclear what happens to hack and where to start. Earlier, cybersecurity experts have warned that PyeongChang Winter Olympics will be the focus of hackers targeted.
