According to foreign media reports, U.S federal law enforcement agency Marshals Service (U.S.MS) will auction 3813 bitcoin on Thursday at a price of about $52 million at the current market price. It is understood that these currencies come from bitcoin seized from federal criminal, civil and administrative cases.

The sale of bitcoin to the USMS routine, however, has recently made the auction of law enforcement agencies in the justice system seem like a gamble because of the growing cryptocurrency. Since Bitcoin has undergone tremendous fluctuations in the prices of the past three months, the transaction price of the last auction will also be different from the current estimate.

Prospective auctioneers will need to complete registration by January 19, plus a deposit of 200,000 U.S. dollars for the auction deposit. Bitcoin will not auction one by one, but by auction, the minimum number of units there are 500, equivalent to 1.4 million US dollars. In addition, auctions will not be public and all auctions will be kept confidential, meaning auction prices will not need to be matched in a room. The successful auctioneer will be notified on January 22.
