Ddos The Fedora project team announced that it will stop supporting Fedora 26 Linux systems on June 1, 2018, and recommend that these users upgrade to Fedora 27/28 as soon as possible. Released on July 11, 2017, Fedora 26 brings the GNOME 3.24 desktop environment, the DNF 2.5 installation package manager, a new partitioning tool for the Anaconda installer, and the Python Classroom Lab spin for educators and students. Now The 11-month support cycle is coming to an end.
The Fedora 26 Linux version has updated nearly 10,000 installation packages since its launch and is scheduled to stop supporting on June 1, 2018. After that, Fedora 26 users will no longer receive security updates and BUG fixes, but no enhanced updates and new installation packages.
Former Fedora director Paul W. Frields said: “After May 29, packages in the Fedora 26 repositories no longer receive any security, bugfix, or enhancement updates. Furthermore, at that point, the community adds no new packages to the F26 collection. The Fedora Project highly recommends you upgrade all systems to Fedora 28 or Fedora 27 before the EOL date. Upgrades are an easy way to keep your system setup while you move to the latest technology.“
