As the second half of 2025 begins, the contours of Appleβs upcoming product lineup are becoming increasingly clear. According to multiple sources, the company is expected to unveil at least 15 new products from this autumn through the end of the year. These include the iPhone 17 series, next-generation Apple Watch models, an upgraded Vision Pro, new Macs powered by the M5 chip, and refreshed smart home devices.
Expected to debut in September, the iPhone 17 series will build upon last yearβs design language while expanding the lineup with a new ultra-thin model, the iPhone 17 Air. This variant will feature a 6.6-inch display, an A19 processor, and a minimalist single-lens camera system. Rumors also suggest the addition of an optional battery-backed rear case, targeting users who favor simplicity.
The standard iPhone 17 will sport a 6.3-inch screen and a 24-megapixel front-facing camera, now with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro models will receive a redesigned main camera array, featuring three 48-megapixel lenses, the A19 Pro chip, and 12GB of RAM. A novel air-cooled thermal structure is likely to be introduced, while the Pro Max is expected to incorporate a thicker chassis to accommodate a larger battery for extended endurance.
In the wearables segment, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is anticipated to gain 5G connectivity and satellite messaging, bolstering its capabilities for off-grid communication. The Apple Watch Series 11 will primarily see a processor upgrade, maintaining a familiar exterior design. Meanwhile, the entry-level Apple Watch SE 3 is set to inherit features from its predecessor and may debut with a plastic case variant aimed at reducing overall cost.
The M5 processor will headline the fall updates across the iPad and Mac lineups, as well as the enhanced Vision Pro. New devices such as the iPad Pro, iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro will be powered by the M5 chip. MacBook Pro models are also expected to feature higher-tier M5 Pro and M5 Max variants. Although the physical design will remain largely unchanged, performance and AI computing capabilities will see significant improvements.
Appleβs smart home offerings will also receive notable updates. A fourth-generation Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini 2 are both expected to support Wi-Fi 6E or the more advanced Wi-Fi 7, along with Appleβs in-house wireless chipβlikely an upgraded Apple C1. The new Apple TV may include a front-facing camera to enable FaceTime functionality, while the upcoming AirTag 2 will reportedly extend tracking range and enhance anti-stalking protections.
Additional products, including the AirPods Pro 3, the second-generation Studio Display, and the long-rumored Apple Home Hub, remain shrouded in mystery. The AirPods Pro 3 are expected to deliver further advancements in noise cancellation. The Studio Display 2 is rumored to feature a mini-LED panel. Meanwhile, the Apple Home Hub could emerge as a hybrid of the HomePod and a display-equipped control center for the smart homeβbut its debut this year is still uncertain.
Appleβs product strategy for the latter half of 2025 will continue to focus on the iPhone, Mac, wearables, and smart home ecosystem. Announcements are expected to roll out in September and October, reflecting Appleβs ongoing commitment to deepening device integration and advancing its AI capabilities.
