Ecuador may hand over the WikiLeaks founder Assange to the UK
Ecuador may expel the founder of WikiLeaks, Assange, from its London embassy. The USA Today reported on the 21st that Ecuador might have reached an agreement with the United Kingdom to hand over Assange who has been hiding in the British Embassy in Ecuador since 2012.
According to reports, Ecuador may decide to cancel Assange’s asylum plan and eviction from the London Embassy as early as next week. The report also quoted Russia news; sources said that Ecuador plans to hand over Assan to the British government in the next few weeks or even days.

The report also said that the new president of Ecuador did not like Julian Assange, saying that he was a “hacker”, “inherited problem” and “stone in the shoe.” As early as March of this year, Ecuador had cut off Assange’s network communication at the embassy.
Assange, 47, has been hiding in the Embassy of Ecuador since 2012 to avoid being extradited to Sweden where he was wanted for questioning over allegations of sexual assault and rape. Although Sweden has now abandoned its charges against Assange, Assange has chosen to stay in the embassy for reasons of suspected exposure to US secrets or his arrest and extradition to the United States.
