According to Betanews media reports, security company Symantec announced that it will no longer offer discounts on its products to members of the National Rifle Association (NRA). After last week’s shootings in Parkland, Florida, firearms management re-sparked discussion. Many companies are under pressure to cut off the NRA, and Symantec is the first tech giant to take this move.

NRA members have previously been able to take advantage of a 50% discount on a range of Symantec products, including LifeLock and Norton products. While some offers are still on one page of the Symantec site, the company announced on Twitter that it will no longer offer discounts to NRA members:
Symantec has stopped its discount program with the National Rifle Association.
