Ddos WebP is an image format developed by Google and mainly supported in web browsers such as Google Chrome. Compared to popular formats such as JPG and PNG, Google’s WebP supports lossy and lossless compression and can reduce image quality loss and size. Chromium-based browsers such as Chrome, Vivaldi, and Opera support the WebP format.

With the release of the next large Windows 10 codenamed Redstone 5, Microsoft is adding support for the WebP image format to the Edge browser. While this is undoubtedly a good thing, support is limited to devices using Windows 10 Redstone 5.
Microsoft also released a new Windows 10 extension last month that allows users to manually enable support for Google’s WebP media format in the Edge browser. Not only Microsoft Edge, but other system applications will also support the WebP image format.
Undoubtedly, Microsoft has invested a lot of energy to make Edge the first choice for Windows 10 users worldwide, but Google Chrome is still the leading browser on the desktop, with a market share of more than 60%. Microsoft Edge lags far behind Chrome and Firefox with a market share of just over 4%.
