Binance Will Close Its Mining Pool
Crypto exchange Binance has announced that it will shut down Binance Pool and its related services. The closure takes effect on November 10, 2026, at 15:00 (UTC+8).
The affected products include the pool savings product, cloud mining, and transaction acceleration. In addition, the mining pool API, Telegram hashrate alerts, and email notifications will end.
Miner Connections and Features Will Stop
After the shutdown, Binance will actively disconnect pool connections. It will also disable its Stratum addresses and mining endpoints.
From then on, the pool will no longer accept submitted hashrate and miner shares, nor count them toward rewards. More importantly, the related products will stop generating new earnings or service benefits.
What Transaction Acceleration Did
Transaction acceleration was a consumer service built on top of the pool. Bitcoin transfers can arrive slowly because of block timing. With this feature, users paid an extra fee so that miners would process their transaction first. In short, it helped transfers arrive faster.
Miners Should Switch Pools Early
Binance advises users to point their mining rigs to another supported pool before the shutdown. They should also cancel subscriptions to the pool savings product or redeem their positions.
Rewards, Balances, and Settlement
Eligible mining shares submitted before the shutdown will still earn final rewards under the existing rules. Unpaid rewards, balances, refunds, and settlements will be handled after the shutdown. That process depends on product rules, account status, and compliance review.
Users must finish any required account verification and related steps before 07:59 on November 10. Otherwise, eligible payments may not be processed.
Pool Pages Stay Open Until November 24
After the shutdown, the pool pages will remain available until November 24. During that time, users can review historical pool data, account records, and the status of asset payouts. After that date, the pages will close for good.
Binance has not explained why it is closing the mining pool business. In its announcement, the company says only that the shutdown is part of its ongoing review of products and services.
