Microsoft Corp. is currently hosting the 2018 Global Developer Conference. In addition to the traditional technology development process, the company is naturally indispensable.

Before releasing the latest data, we need to review the data released by Microsoft before. At the end of 2017, Microsoft claimed that the number of Windows 10 users was 600 million.

In less than half a year’s time, Microsoft has reaped more than 100 million users. The current Windows 10 active users have reached nearly 700 million.

At the developer conference in 2017, there were 500 million active users of Windows 10. Basically, the system will increase by 100 million users every six months.

The ability to quickly increase the number of users in Windows 10 is naturally related to the company’s free upgrade policy and the shipment of OEM manufacturers’ pre-installed systems.

Currently, all OEM manufacturers can only pre-install Windows 10 when pre-installing Microsoft systems, which is absolutely essential for promoting active user growth.
