Lars Froder, the developer known as opa334, has released Dopamine 3.0, the first jailbreak to support iOS 26. This milestone iOS 26 jailbreak targets devices running iOS 26.0 through 26.0.1 on A12 and A13 chips, such as older iPhones and iPads.
What Dopamine 3.0 Adds
The release does more than reach Apple’s newest firmware. It also expands compatibility for A14 and M1 models up to iOS 17.3.1. New exploits improve reliability, and several fixes revive support for older hardware.
Two new bypasses drive the update. The Titan PPL/SPTM bypass by alfiecg24 opens support for all devices running 16.5.1 through 17.3.1. Meanwhile, the momentarius PPL bypass by staturnzz and TheRealClarity brings A12 and A13 devices from 16.6 up to 18.7.1, along with the new iOS 26 releases.
A cleaner exploit called ClearSword arrives as a more reliable alternative to DarkSword. Community testers confirmed the jailbreak runs smoothly, though results still depend on the exact chip and firmware.
Why This iOS 26 Jailbreak Matters
Apple continues to harden each iOS generation, so a working iOS 26 jailbreak is a notable achievement. The Dopamine team layered fresh kernel exploits with PPL and SPTM bypasses to reach SYSTEM-level access on supported chips.
Users should verify their device model and firmware before installing. You can review the full details on the official Dopamine site or grab the source and changelog from the Dopamine GitHub repository.
The jailbreak remains rootless and semi-untethered. As a result, you re-run the app after every reboot, and a jbupdate from an earlier version will trigger a full reboot by design.
