Google recently unveiled its premium subscription plan—Google AI Ultra—priced at an impressive $249.99 per month, granting users access to its most advanced artificial intelligence models and cutting-edge tools.
This elite offering enables subscribers to harness the full potential of the latest Gemini models and associated AI services. These include unlimited access to Flow, a newly introduced generative video creation tool, as well as the updated Veo 3 for video generation. Users also gain access to Deep Search and Deep Think—Gemini’s advanced capabilities for in-depth information retrieval and reasoning, powered by the Gemini 2.5 Pro model.
Additionally, the subscription includes Project Mariner, an AI-powered web browsing assistant, and offers full integration of Gemini services across Google platforms such as Chrome, Gmail, and Google Docs.
Though the monthly cost stands at $249.99, the subscription also bundles 30TB of Google Cloud storage and access to YouTube Premium. Individually, YouTube Premium is priced at $14 per month, and a Google One plan offering 30TB of storage costs around $150—making the AI Ultra package appear less prohibitively expensive when its components are considered.
Meanwhile, the newly launched Google AI Pro plan, priced at $19.99 per month, is essentially a rebranded version of the former Google AI Premium. The name change likely aims to clarify the distinction in service tiers and avoid user confusion.
Currently, Google is offering the first month of Google AI Pro free of charge, while AI Ultra subscribers can enjoy a 50% discount for the first three months—bringing the initial monthly rate down to $124.99.
