Microsoft has recently introduced its Copilot app to the Mac App Store, allowing Mac users to seamlessly access Copilot’s AI services in a native and fully compatible format.
Previously, Mac users could only interact with Copilot through a web-based interface, unlike iPhone and iPad users who had the convenience of a dedicated app.
With the app now available for download on the Mac App Store, users can experience Copilot in its native application form. Microsoft has also integrated a quick-access shortcut—”Command + Space”—enabling users to launch Copilot more efficiently.
Earlier, Microsoft announced that, leveraging OpenAI’s o1 model, all users could access Copilot’s voice interaction features for free, along with the “Think Deeper” mode, which enhances reasoning capabilities. This expansion aims to help users address a broader range of everyday inquiries through Copilot’s AI-powered assistance.
However, the Copilot app currently appears to be available for download only within the United States, with users in other regions unable to install it directly at this time.
