Oracle release Critical Patch Update in several products
Oracle released the patches for Oracle Database Server Risk Matrix, Oracle Communications Applications Risk Matrix, Oracle Construction and Engineering Suite Risk Matrix, Oracle E-Business Suite Risk Matrix, Oracle Financial Services Applications Risk Matrix, Oracle Fusion Middleware Risk Matrix, Oracle Health Sciences Applications Risk Matrix, Oracle Hospitality Applications Risk Matrix, Oracle Hyperion Risk Matrix, Oracle Java Micro Edition Risk Matrix, Oracle Java SE Risk Matrix, Oracle JD Edwards Products Risk Matrix, Oracle MySQL Risk Matrix,Oracle PeopleSoft Products Risk Matrix, Oracle Retail Applications Risk Matrix, and Oracle Siebel CRM Risk Matrix products.
This Critical Patch Update contains 237 new security fixes. Many bugs permit hacker may be remotely exploitable without authentication, i.e., may be exploited over a network without requiring user credentials.
Oracle therefore strongly recommends that customers remain on actively-supported versions and apply Critical Patch Update fixes without delay.
