Samsung recently released a teaser hinting at the imminent unveiling of a new foldable-screen smartphone, widely speculated to be the much-rumored Galaxy Z Fold7. The announcement also promises to deliver a “Galaxy Ultra” user experience.
Samsung noted that the forthcoming “Ultra” experience will seamlessly integrate foldable display technology with advanced artificial intelligence features, enabling the device to assist users in addressing a broad spectrum of everyday needs.
Given that Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series already includes “Ultra” models—such as the Galaxy S25 Ultra—this raises the possibility that the upcoming foldable devices may also feature an “Ultra” variant.
Barring any surprises, Samsung is expected to unveil the large-screen foldable Galaxy Z Fold7 alongside the compact Galaxy Z Flip7. However, the rumored tri-fold display smartphone, tentatively dubbed the “Galaxy G Fold,” remains unconfirmed at this stage.
In addition, Samsung is anticipated to debut its virtual reality headset, “Project Moohan,” developed in collaboration with Google, as part of its broader push to enhance immersive visual interaction experiences.
According to earlier reports, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. Its internal display will reportedly expand to 8.2 inches with a wider aspect ratio, featuring ultra-slim 1mm bezels and a significantly reduced crease at the fold. The device will support a newly designed S Pen and incorporate a 200-megapixel main camera sensor identical to that of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Battery capacity is likely to remain at 4,400mAh, with support for 25W fast charging.
