Samsung has officially announced that it will host a Galaxy launch event on September 4, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. CET during the IFA 2024 exhibition in Berlin, Germany, where it is expected to unveil its latest products. According to teasers, the highlight of the event will likely be the debut of the Galaxy S25 FE, with the possibility of additional product announcements.
The Galaxy S25 FE will complete this year’s Galaxy S25 lineup, carrying forward the design language of the series while offering four color options: black, deep blue, ice blue, and white. The white edition stands out as a key highlight, as neither the standard Galaxy S25 nor the Galaxy S25+ includes this color, with only the S25 Ultra offering the silver-toned Titanium Whitesilver.
Despite being positioned as the mid-tier model in the lineup, the Galaxy S25 FE delivers notable upgrades. It is powered by the Exynos 2400 processor, a step up from the Exynos 2400e found in the S24 FE. Memory is set at 8GB, with storage options of 128GB or 256GB.
Battery capacity has been increased to 4,900mAh, with support for 45W wired fast charging, potentially giving it better endurance than the Galaxy S25+. Overall, while marketed as a mid-range flagship, the Galaxy S25 FE may deliver an experience approaching that of higher-end models.
Although pricing has yet to be disclosed, industry expectations suggest it will be positioned below the $999 Galaxy S25+, making it the most competitively priced option in the series. With its accessible pricing, premium design, and capable performance, the Galaxy S25 FE is set to be a key product targeting the mainstream market.
With the arrival of the Galaxy S25 FE, the Galaxy S25 series becomes Samsung’s most expansive flagship lineup to date—comprising the standard Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25+, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the later-introduced Galaxy S25 Edge, and now the forthcoming Galaxy S25 FE. Through this comprehensive coverage, Samsung clearly aims to address a wide spectrum of budgets and consumer needs, while maintaining its competitive edge in the smartphone market through the second half of the year.
