Windows 10 version 1803 receives the KB4338548 patch
Although there are still several days away from this month’s Patch Tuesday event day, Microsoft does not seem to want to wait any longer, so it released a cumulative update for Windows 10 April 2018. This release of KB4338548 is the third cumulative update of the Windows 10 feature update. The update rate is smaller than the previous cumulative update. The version number after installation has risen to 17134.83.
According to the official update log, “This update addresses an issue where the 2017 and 2018 versions of Intuit QuickBooks Desktop can’t run in multi-user mode on Windows 10, version 1803 devices. The QuickBooks multi-user mode service fails to start with error “Windows could not start the QuickBooksDBXX service on Local Computer.” and “Error 193: 0xc1.”
Obviously, Windows 10 April 2018 update users affected by this issue are not many, but Microsoft still needs to fix many other issues. You can download this patch here.
