Windows 10 April 10 Update support only Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, not for ARM
In December 2016, Microsoft released an exciting and heavy news: Bring a full version of the Windows 10 system experience to ARM-based processors and support for running x86 applications. The first equipment to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor has been officially launched, including HP’s Envy x2 and Asus’s NovaGo, all of which are running Windows 10 Fall Creator update.
Obviously, Qualcomm has now launched a more powerful follow-up processor – Snapdragon 845, I believe that in the future Windows 10 system will also support this new processor. The PC device equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor is expected to debut in the second half of 2018 and may be unveiled with the Windows 10 RedStone 5 update.
Microsoft today officially announced the Windows 10 April 10 Update and updated some documents. In the list of minimum supported processors in these documents, Version 1803 still only supports Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors. The last update of this page was actually on June 15, 2017, but this information was not previously disclosed.
