February operating system Market Share: Win 10 decline, macOS growth
According to February statistics released by market research firm NetMarketShare, the share of Windows 10 in the desktop system dropped from 34.29% last month to 34.06%. Although the decline is not obvious, many users and the media spawned a lot of questions, how long will the Windows 10 system wait before fully taking over Windows 7 system?
According to the survey, the market share of Windows 7 system dropped in February this year, down from 42.39% in January this year to 41.61%. Apple’s macOS 10.13 rose this month, rising from 4.46% to 4.96%.
Overall, 87.66% of the world’s PCs running Windows are now running again, down from 87.79% last month, while macOS has a 9.89% market share.
