NVIDIA Releases GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 397.55
Nvidia released a new graphics driver a few weeks ago but soon many GTX 1060 users found that they couldn’t install properly when they updated this version of the driver.
Some of the GTX 1080/1050 users encountered the same problem very quickly, and they also caused continuous looping to affect the normal use of the computer.
After a lot of users spit up, Nvidia officials have already admitted that there is a problem with this version of the driver. At the same time, they apologized to the user and promised to release the new version as soon as possible.
If you need to solve this problem, you can only temporarily remove the driver and revert to the old 391.35 version. Fortunately, Nvidia has now released a new version.
This is GeForce Hot Fix driver version 397.55 that addresses the following:
– After driver installation, Device Manager may report Code 43 error on a few GTX 1060 cards models.
– Netflix playback may occasionally stutter.
– Added support for Microsoft Surface Book notebooks.
– Windows 10: Driver may get removed after PC has been left idle for an extended period of time.
